Heather & Peter @ Myres Castle

Heather and Peter’s wedding was really incredible with a huge family coming from all over Europe and Myres Castle was the perfect venue to show off our beautiful Scotland and Scottish heritage. The sun was shining, the drinks were flowing all the while taking in all the decor around the grounds with the koi fish pond, to the wild red vines and some of the interesting abstract sculptures.

I had met Heather at a previous wedding where she was a bride’s maid and as I’m not good with names I remembered her as the girl with the joyous smile. After our first official meeting with Heather and Peter (and having first-time home baked cupcakes) I went away feeling the connection and before I had the chance to reach my car, I received an email confirming they both wanted to choose myself for their big day. It has been an incredible journey to getting to know both Heather, Peter and their families along the way. Doing our first pre wedding shoot and the finally the wedding. I felt emotional and very proud to witness both of these amazing people marry each other and start their new life together. It really was an honour to have been a part of it all and an experience I will carry with me all my life.

I wish them both a lifetime of happiness together and hopefully see them again soon outside of all the crazy wedding planning.
