Kerry-Lyne & James @ Harburn Barn
When I first met Kerry-Lyne and James I realized they would be my youngest bride and groom, and it quickly became apparent how mature and how much in love they were with each other. I was drawn like moth to a flame and I wanted to capture their raw emotion and passion. After our initial meeting to get to know a little bit more about each other we suggested we try a pre engagement shoot to see if we were a match.
Fast forward to the pre wedding shoot, which took place in Pittenweem in the evening (to avoid harsh sunlight), we were all feeling a little bit nervous to start with but both Kerry-Lyne and James were so natural in front of the camera. They just seem to get lost into each other's eyes; each others presence and just being together in the moment. We ended up spending the best two hours I can remember in a very long time and the photos turned out amazing (you can also see the progression as they become to feel more relaxed and happy to go with my nutty ideas).
It's safe to say I was super excited for Kerry-Lyne and Jame's wedding day as I know I couldn't expect nothing short of amazing from them and it sure enough it was more; it was intense, it was sweet and it was humbling to watch these two beautiful people grow together and unite two families into one. I am very proud of them and am so lucky to have their paths cross mine.
Kerry-Lyne and James, I wish you both a long happy future together and thank you for sharing a piece of your lives with me. I look forward to our next adventure as they will wear their wedding dress and suit up for another shoot!
