Claire & Richard @ Errol Park
It was about two years ago I first met Claire and Richard in their cosy flat in Kirkcaldy. I was super excited when I received their confirmation email to have me be part of their big day. We kept up to date with each other’s lives via social media; I love seeing my couples grow and go on all kinds of adventures.
Meeting up; The wedding day was approaching fast. We organised a date to catch up, visit the venue and then go for a nice lunch (I believe building a personal relationship with each other is paramount to creating natural, true to life moments).
As it was my first time shooting a wedding at Errol Park we decided to meet at the house to view inside and the surrounding grounds. When I arrived, I was excited to see highland cows in the fields. I was in awe! A truly magical place with so much character and beautiful authentic vintage decor. As we explored the grounds and the gardens we were praying it would be sunny on the wedding day to have the ceremony outside.
Wedding day; The sun was beaming. The boys were hard working setting up the chairs and decor for an outside ceremony. The girls were enjoying a glass (or two) of bubbly while finalising their hair and makeup. The whole day went so smooth and right on schedule too. We captured a lot of incredible moments of this beautiful couple who didn’t have any reservation about showing affection to each other - Just how I like it!
We finished off the day with very funny speeches, amazing food and energetic dancing. I wish we could do this day all over again. I would love to shoot again at Errol Park even though it will never be the same without Claire and Richard! Such a pleasure to have met them and their families!
